LIZA FORBES<\/h4><p>La profesora Liza Forbes est\u00e1 especializada en flotaci\u00f3n de minerales, con especial atenci\u00f3n a la qu\u00edmica de los reactivos de flotaci\u00f3n, la qu\u00edmica de las superficies minerales y la electroqu\u00edmica de los sulfuros de metales b\u00e1sicos. Su principal inter\u00e9s radica en integrar los aspectos fundamentales y aplicados de la investigaci\u00f3n sobre flotaci\u00f3n para desarrollar tecnolog\u00edas de procesamiento nuevas y mejoradas.<\/p><p>Liza se doctor\u00f3 en Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica por la Universidad de Ciudad del Cabo en 2007. Desde entonces, ha trabajado en el N.B.Keevil Mining Institute de la Universidad de Columbia Brit\u00e1nica (Canad\u00e1), en el Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica y Biomolecular de la Universidad de Melbourne y en CSIRO Mineral Resources<\/p><p>Anteriormente, Liza trabaj\u00f3 como metal\u00fargica en la mina de platino Bafokeng Rasimone, de Anglo Platinum, en Sud\u00e1frica.
